Found on trees like maples, ashes, and elms, these winged seeds catch the wind, traveling far and wide to find the perfect place to grow. A reminder that small things can take flight and land somewhere new. Just like planting a samara seed can grow into a towering tree, planting ideas, connections, and kindness can create something bigger than we ever imagined.

Our Roots

Samara Strategies is a social venture that emerges from the learnings of Tree Street Youth in Lewiston — a place that shaped the values and principles behind Samara. Tree Street is where we learned and grew, and it continues to inspire our work.

As a way of giving back, we commit a percentage of our fee-for-service revenue each year to support Tree Street, the place where we first learned to dream big, lead with integrity, and serve community.
